Why? Isn’t that a ton of work?
It sure is. But it’s the only way we’ve found that ensures we all stay consistent. It is SO much easier to copy and paste your caption and hashtags into the post from a spreadsheet than it is to sit there for an hour trying to come up with a post for National Dog Day in your stress-riddled, caffeine-addled brain at 3PM on a Tuesday.
The other big reason is this – planning produces better quality.
Your caffeine-addled, stress-riddled brain is in no shape to whip up an engaging paragraph of copy at 3PM on National Dog Day. So don’t do it. Write that copy on your laptop with a view in front of you and a beverage in hand when you feel relaxed and inspired to do so. This is how you create things that people want to read!
