Remember how in English class you learned that a good story is told in three parts? Those three parts can be called a plethora of different things, but in essence they are the same:

Set Up
Conflict
Resolution

That’s the classic trifecta of goodies that create a good story. And guess what? Making a video is no different!

Video Tip #2 – Sequence Out Your Stuff

How do you experience a new place? You see the whole thing, usually from the outside. Then you enter the place, and you see a wide view of it. Next, you move through and notice more and more details, and finally you leave.

Shoot your videos the same way.

Create sequences of 3-5 shots
Start with a wide exterior shot, then move into tighter and tighter shots as you progress through the sequences
